This script will automatically install freeNX server and NX Client on Ubuntu (32 or 64 bit). It has been tested on Lucid, Karmic, Jaunty, Intrepid and Hardy. Please let me know if there are any problems.
To run, open a terminal and navigate to the directory you downloaded the file to. Then type these commands:
$ chmod +x freenx-install-ubuntu.sh $ sudo ./freenx-install-ubuntu.sh
Go along with whatever it asks you.
- Updated the version of NX client downloaded to 3.4.0-7 to add compatibility with Lucid
- Updated the version of NX client downloaded to 3.4.0-5
